Membership, hours, equipment, policies, and the practical details to know before you walk in.

01

Membership and Pricing

A standard monthly membership is $50/month + tax, with a one-time $25 signup fee. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees — it's month-to-month, cancel anytime. Day passes are also available if you just want to drop in.

See membership options →

Yes, there's a one-time $25 signup fee (+ tax). We wive the signup fee for military, veterans, first responders, students, and educators — just let us know when you sign up. Thank you for your service and your studies.

Yes. The $25 signup fee is waived for active military, veterans, first responders, students, and educators. Membership itself remains $50/month for everyone — we keep pricing simple and affordable so the gym stays accessible to the community.

We offer two single-day passes, both with full access to all gym equipment:

  • Weekday Pass — $10 + tax (valid Monday–Friday)
  • Weekend Pass — $20 + tax (valid Saturday–Sunday)

Day passes are perfect for travelers, visitors, or anyone who wants to try the gym before committing to a membership.

No contracts. No cancellation fees. Membership is month-to-month. To cancel, just email hector@liftatx.com on the day you want to cancel — it's effective that same day. No runaround, no retention hoops.

02

Hours and Access

Staffed and open hours are:

  • Monday–Thursday: 4:00 AM – 12:00 AM
  • Friday: 4:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

We're here early and late — come whenever works for your schedule.

Members get extended access during staffed operating hours (see above). Access is managed through our member app/key system at sign-up. If you have questions about after-hours access, reach out and we'll walk you through how it works for your membership.

Holiday hours vary — we typically post updated hours on our Instagram and at the gym ahead of major holidays. When in doubt, call us at (512) 350-2322 before heading over.

Sign up online through our membership portal, or come in during staffed hours and we'll get you set up on the spot. After sign-up you'll be set up with access so you can walk in and lift whenever the gym is open.

Equipment and Facilities

Lift ATX is a true warehouse gym built for serious lifting. Our floor is loaded for strength training first — think squat racks, deadlift platforms, competition-grade barbells, plates, dumbbells, and functional space. We keep the vibe raw and the iron heavy. (Detailed equipment list coming soon — ask in person and we'll show you the floor.)

Yes — multiple squat racks and dedicated deadlift platforms are the heart of the gym. Whether you're powerlifting, bodybuilding, or just getting strong, you'll have the racks and platform space you need without waiting in a line.

Yes, we have cardio equipment to round out your training — but make no mistake, this is a strength-first gym. Cardio is available for warm-ups, conditioning, and general fitness, but the soul of Lift ATX is the iron.

Restrooms and changing space are available. Because we're a warehouse gym, we keep facilities functional and no-frills — the focus is on the training floor, not a spa. Bring what you need for your session and we'll take care of the rest.

Yes — WiFi, water, and climate control are all available. It's a warehouse, so expect authentic gym atmosphere over luxury resort vibes, but you'll have everything you need to train comfortably.

04

Gym Policies

Yes — Lift ATX is a dog-friendly gym! We love our gym doggos. Rules: bring a leash and your own water bowl. If it's 85°F or above outside, please do NOT bring your dog — the warehouse gets warm and we prioritize pup safety.

Guests are welcome with a day pass ($10 weekday / $20 weekend). Have them grab a pass and come lift with you — it's a great way to introduce friends to the community.

Yes — chalk is allowed and welcome. This is a lifting gym, not a chrome-and-mirror fitness center. Just be respectful: keep it on the platform and clean up after yourself.

Drinks in sealed containers / shaker bottles are fine on the floor. Please keep food in the designated areas and away from the equipment. Common sense and courtesy go a long way here.

Young lifters are welcome with a parent or guardian. For minors, we ask that a responsible adult be present. Reach out before your first visit so we can make sure it's a good fit and walk you through the details.

05

Photoshoots and Filming

Yes — Lift ATX welcomes filming and photography of all kinds. Our priority is always the comfort, safety, and well-being of our members, so just be mindful of who's in your frame and don't disrupt someone's set.

Email stephen@liftatx.com to book a photoshoot. Let us know the date, time, scope, and number of people involved, and we'll coordinate with you on availability and any details.

Personal/member filming is generally fine during normal hours. For commercial or large-scale shoots, fees and scheduling depend on the scope — contact stephen@liftatx.com for details and we'll work something out.

Always get consent before filming or photographing another member. Be aware of what's in your background, and never disrupt someone mid-lift. Respect the community and the community will respect your content.

Location and Parking

We're at 1005 Springdale Rd. #3, Austin, Texas 78721 — in the heart of East Austin. Get directions on Google Maps →

Yes, parking is available on-site at the warehouse. East Austin can get busy, but you'll generally find a spot — especially during off-peak hours.

Yes. Springdale Rd is served by Capital Metro routes, and we're bike-friendly with spots to lock up. Check CapMetro for current schedules, and Google Maps for bike routes from your area.

We're in East Austin — the neighborhood founder Daniel Hinojosa has called home for 20+ years. Lift ATX was built to give OG East Austinites a space of their own amid rapid change, and we're proud to be part of this community since 2020. Read our story →

07

Classes and Training

Yes — personal training is available. Whether you want to learn the basics, break through a plateau, or get sport-specific coaching, we can connect you with a trainer. Email stephen@liftatx.com to get matched.

Lift ATX is primarily an open-gym, train-on-your-terms space. We host special programming and events from time to time — check our Events page and Instagram for what's coming up.

Many of our members are powerlifters and strength athletes, and coaching/programming is available through our network of trainers. Reach out and we'll point you to the right person for your goals.

Independent coaches are generally welcome to train their clients here — just check in with us first so we can sort out the details. Email stephen@liftatx.com to coordinate.

08

Community and Events

We regularly host powerlifting meets (like THE CONCHA CLASSIC), cultural nights (Latin Night, R&B Night), talent showcases (Cypher), holiday fundraisers (Pa' Los Niños toy drive), and our annual anniversary Pachanga. See the Events page for what's coming up.

Yes — we love supporting community events, drives, and fundraisers, especially those centering East Austin. Reach out to stephen@liftatx.com with your idea and we'll see how we can make it happen.

Always. The gym is a showcase for local Austin artists, and we frequently feature local vendors at events and on busy weekends. If you're an artist or vendor interested in collaborating, hit us up.

Yes — our biggest was THE 2026 CONCHA CLASSIC, a Powerlifting America sanctioned meet with 33 lifters, live mariachis, and three platforms. We plan to host more. Follow @lift.atx and check the Events page for upcoming meet dates and registration.

09

Beginners and First-Timers

Absolutely. Every strong person started somewhere, and our community meets people where they are. The vibe is supportive, not judgmental — you'll find everyone from first-timers to competitive lifters training side by side.

Yes — come by during staffed hours and we'll show you around. No pressure, no sales pitch. Or grab a $10 day pass and try the floor for yourself before deciding.

The basics: workout clothes, flat-soled shoes (for lifting), a water bottle, and a towel if you like. If you're signing up, have your payment ready. That's it — we've got the iron covered.

It looks hardcore — and it is — but it's not intimidating. The community is welcoming, down-to-earth, and real. Walk in, feel it. This isn't just a gym, it's a movement. See the vibes →

Nope. You don't need to be experienced — you just need to show up. If you want guidance, we can connect you with personal training to learn safe, effective technique from day one.

10

Billing and Account

Sign up online through our membership portal, or in person during staffed hours. Billing is handled through our member platform for easy, secure, recurring payments.

Email hector@liftatx.com on the day you wish to cancel. There are no cancellation fees, and your cancellation is effective the same day. No contracts, no runaround.

If you need to pause your membership (travel, injury, life), reach out to hector@liftatx.com and we'll work with you. We're a community gym, not a corporate chain — we treat people like people.

Yes. Your member portal provides payment history and receipts. If you need something specific for insurance reimbursement, HSA/FSA, or corporate wellness programs, email stephen@liftatx.com and we'll get you what you need.
